Poor customer service online
I adore Liberty but their customer service online is awful. So slow to respond (if you get a response) and they take forever to action anything. I’d avoid shopping on their website.

Warning: click and collect
Next day click and collect seems to mean anytime after a 36 hour period. Utterly useless customer service. Couldn’t do anything about it. Expect better from a supposedly premium store. Really let me down.

Poor quality customer service and delayed “express” shipping
I’m very disappointed with the online customer service of Liberty London. I placed an order and paid extra for express shipping. 5 days later and my order has still not been shipped out. I’ve contacted Liberty London numerous times email (the online chat was not open) and they fail to give any explanation or info about the whereabouts of my order. The item I purchased was for an urgent project, that’s why I chose express shipping. At least I would expect an explanation or an apology, or some way of showing a willingness to help. Instead they simply avoid answering my question about where my order is/why it was not been shipped out, and they have only answered another less urgent question. I often order online and very rarely I’m met with a lack of customer service and willingness to help to this extent. If you need an item shipped out quickly or if you need help from the customer service department, I cannot recommend this online retailer at all.

A star for Afsar at Liberty Customer Services
This review is for Afsar at Liberty London Customer Services.
Friend of mine purchased a beautiful item for my little one online. I needed the size up so phoned customer services to check the stock at the store prior to making my way down there and exchanging.
Afsar checked the store stock and said he would be visiting the store the next day and personally ensured the required item in the size I needed was set aside at the Liberty Customer Service section. All I needed to do was go straight there and do a straight swap. He emailed me all the details with a ref number.
Went to the store yesterday and provided them with the ref no. The exchange was seamless. Such a pleasant and easy experience.
I felt Afsar went above and beyond to ensure a resolution. I really appreciated the clear follow-up email detailing the actions taken and what I needed to do next.

The best customer experience
Absolutely blown away by the customer service I received from Antonia today.
I reached out due to an item I wished to purchase online going out of stock. Antonia located and put one aside in store for me, and sent me a hassle free payment link, and arranged delivery.
The replies were so courteous and prompt, and she really went above and beyond to help. Thank you Antonia!

Avoid if you use the returns
Make sure you get the right size. I returned two t shirts that were too small and they seem to be missing. Dpd got a signature from someone called Del yet still Liberty London refuse to help me.

Not a happy customer…
Bought a beautiful liberty brand cushion which unfortunately split along the seam within weeks! They didn’t have any others in stock so I kept it.. When it came back into stock (which I noticed, they didn’t even inform me) I asked could I do a return for a new one and I was told I was outside of the return window! Really unhappy with this outcome given a return wasn’t possible initially due to it being out of stock.. expected better from Liberty

I went to the Sisley beauty counter to…
I went to the Sisley beauty counter to purchase make up. The lady suggested a shade which I agreed with and I asked her to sell that shade to me. I bought foundation and powder. Went home to find that all the shades were incorrect! She messed it all up! I was so disappointed as I spent over £250! The whole experience was really rushed and I will never go back there again.

I paid over the odds for a sewing pattern. It arrived later than I was told it would, even though they'd given themselves a generous 5-day window and asked for an equally generous postage fee of £4.50. In the interval between ordering and receiving, I got 5 marketing emails from them, so the efficiency of the admin in the marketing team clearly doesn't suffer from the same failings as that of the packing team.
Lost purse
I discovered I had lost my purse whilst out in London the other day which was extremely stressful!
The next day I had a parcel and it was from Liberty returning my purse which they had found in their store. I didn't expect to ever see it again so it really made my day! Thank you! from a super grateful customer.

Perfume order - great service and product
Order placed Sunday evening, delivered to Sheffield quite fast, Wednesday morning (standard delivery). The item arrived in impeccable condition (a perfume wrapped in many layers), I'm quite chuffed about it. Going to use them again, undoubtedly.
